Rocky Mountain High!

Another great day of riding!  We started in Tribune, KS and finished in Arlington, CO.  I rode for 93 miles and the weather was very good.  Got going around 7:30 Mountain Time (yes, we changed time zones) and it was a wee bit cool.  The ride was flat and into a bit of wind.  So my overall MPH was about 14 for the day.

Around Mile 17, we finished our time in Kansas and moved into Colorado.  We now have only three more states to go, Utah, Nevada and California!

As you will see in the picture below, SAGger Jim was a bit of a baby and cried when we left Kansas!  He loved the people and how kind they were.  But he was thrilled to finally get a steak dinner tonight.

Tomorrow, we are off to Pueblo, another 80ish miles.  Weather appears to be good, and let’s get that wind at our back again!

  1. So proud of you, Jack. Your sister, Karen always told me such wonderful things about you when we worked together cannot even imagine how proud she is right now and bragging about you even more each day. So sorry I am not sitting at that desk across from here so I can hear it everyday you have a wonderful family that you are making more and more proud each day of this journey. Good Luck ❤️
